This thanksgiving break was spent in a few different places it started first in Las Vegas where Beau, Austin and I stayed at our Aunt Larue's house then we made our way to Palm Springs. As soon as we pulled in the hotel parking lot we grabbed our bathing suits and hit the pool. I just laid there for about 30 minutes with the sun hitting my face, I LOVED IT. My family met us down in Palm Springs for a few days. That trip was filled with: hours of playing tennis, people watching like crazy, hot tubs and laying out by the pool..doesn't get any better than that. On Wednesday we drove home and spent the night at the Winter's and had Thanksgiving dinner at Bev's. It was so nice to be in Fresno even for such a short while. While we were at Bev's my dad has this grandioso idea to go to the desert w/ the Fogg's for some dirt bike riding. My dad suprised Beau a few weeks ago and got him a dirt bike and all his gear so they have been dying so go. So, back in the car we go, off to Mojave Desert. The boy's got to ride their dirt bikes while my mom rode her quad (luckily they let me ride this time.........) we had FUN and it was great to see Meghan, Maddie and Tyler too. Yesterday we drove from Vegas back here and it took us about 14 hours... let's just say I don't like the snow. Needless to say we are happy to be back to our little life in Rexburg the good news is only three more weeks then home for Christmas. When I think about Christmas I think...... big sweaters, hot chocolate, christmas music, caroling, scarfs, skiing, presents, family togetherness, the smell of vanilla spice candles. I love this time of year, how could someone not?
