Due to request, (yes from you mom) I will blog about our new Christmas Tree . On monday Beau texted me and said "Don't make any plans for tonight we're having FHE." So, Beau and I headed down to I.F. to get our Christmas Tree and ornaments. That night we turned up some Christmas jams and decorated our tree! I don't think the pictures do justice but I think its beautiful. I love having a tree in the house to look at constantly and remind us of the Christmas Season. We have been listening to Christmas music non-stop at this house hold and I have discovered some of my favorite songs, besides the classic songs.. I am currently loving Winter Song by Sarah McLachlan and the Christmas Shoes song.
This week has been filled with:
-going to bed late & getting up early
-hot chocolate
-going on dates
-beaus basketball games
-my volleyball games
-christmas music
-both beau and i getting sick
-trying to attempt to make home made bread (lets just say I need Grandma Winter's recipe)
-finishing up christmas gifts and getting them wrapped
-work, work and more work
-school x 10 (i loveeee my classes this semester, especially interpersonal communications-its HILARIOUS)
yesterday I went to my ward's relief society activity where we were taught a lesson on
Jesus Christ
Others
Yourself
J-O-Y
I thought it was such a cute message because I think sometimes we get caught up in ONE of those things but its so important to first and foremost remember our Savior, Jesus Christ for he is the ultimate reason for the season, serve others for tis' the season & then comes yourself.
"You will never be happy if you just think about yourself, get lost in service, through that, you will find eternal happiness." - Gordon. B. Hinckley
