My first post...

Lindee has been begging me to make posts on here and I kept telling her that I would sooner or later but the truth is that I forgot how to sign on and "add a new post" but I finally figured it out!

As you have read maybe in prior posts that Lindee flew out to California for the weekend and is having a great time with the family and friends in Fresno but I have missed having her here this weekend for a number of reasons:

1. My laughing buddy....I can have good conversation and laugh with any of my friends but it is nothing compared to the conversations and laughing that I enjoy with Lindee.

2. My skiing partner...when we go skiing/snowboarding together it is always a race to bottom of the mountain and most of the time Lindee beats me.  I went snowboarding Saturday night and have to admit that I missed the challenge that I always get when going with her.

3. Cooking!  It is always an interesting conversation between Lindee and I during the middle and the end of the week when we talk about food or what we want to eat....usually Lindee prepares dinner throughout the week which I always love her cooking after a long day of classes and studying but we can NEVER decide on a place to go out to eat on the weekends (there aren't very many choices in Rexburg anyways).  I missed that conversation we always have where we look at each other and say, "Sooooo where do you wanna go eat?" and we look at each other and both say almost simultaneously "I don't know." And then sit there in silence for several minutes thinking hard about where but we always just hop in the car and it becomes an adventure/game from there wherever we end up.

4. Racquetball...One of our favorite new hobbies/sports to play is racquetball and I might say that Lindee has been getting very good.  It is always fun to play against each other but we love to play doubles and challenge any people that want to play down at the racquetball courts on campus.  I missed playing our favorite hobby this weekend.

5. My movie snuggle buddy...Since Lindee and I started our Netflix account about a month ago we have had movies sent to our apartment weekly and also have been streaming movies regularly whenever I am done with my homework early...Sadly enough I had to watch Cast Away and Rudy by myself this weekend (even though I know Lindee would not have missed watching Rudy because she's not really into all those sportsy/inspirational movies all that much like I am) it just wasn't the same watching them without her even though she always ends up falling asleep in movies the first 20 minutes......sometimes she even lasts for 30 if I'm lucky!

I'm glad that Lindee will be returning home tomorrow night in time for Valentine's Day because I am dying to see her and give her the gift I picked out while she was gone.  I am getting all of my homework and studying out of the way which is due Tuesday so that I have an open schedule to do whatever she wants when she flies back into town.  Lindee is the love of my life and I am so grateful that I chose such an awesome girl which is and will be my companion for eternity.  I love you babe.....Happy Valentine's Day.....(well, tomorrow).
