the inside job # 2

# 2: be thoughtful
thought·ful- having or showing heed for the well-being or happiness of others and a propensity for anticipating their needs or wishes.

think back to the last time someone did something out of the ordinary for you, big OR small.
how did it make you feel?

a few weeks ago i received a note on my door clip from one of my girlfriends saying how much she appreciated our friendship and thanked me for my example to her.
it was small and simple but it truly made my day!

you may be thinking, where to start?
you don't need to wait for opportunities you can create them.
the things you do to be thoughtful don't have to be extravagant they can start small then as you do them more and more they will start becoming natural to you.
step outside your comfort zone,
start small by giving someone a compliment a day or hold the door open for a stranger....
by giving of yourself you will be happier inside.

"the best way to find yourself is to loose yourself in the service of the others"

 thats the challenge for today!
go for it.

I agree with Meredith great post. Very inspiring and if we all followed this advice the world would be such a nicer place. But it can start one person at a time. I am starting today, hehe!
