we're here!
when we woke up friday morning we thought we were only looking forward to a 7 hour drive but with a huge blizzard over the pass in vail it knocked us back 2 1/2 hrs..
yes, 2 1/2 hours we were sitting at a dead stop.
but,
yes, 2 1/2 hours we were sitting at a dead stop.
but,
we had a great time just being together. before beau and i embarked on our little journey my mom told me to cherish every moment i get to spend with beau before the summer work begins.
i love being with this guy more than anything.
anyway,
after exploring a bit today, checking out all the local 'hot spots'
i can say that i love highlands ranch!
ok, ok, i know we've only been here a short while but what i've seen, i've loved!
its gorgeous.
unlike anything i've seen before, in all honesty.
like park city but 10x better [as we've been told]
plus, the denver temple is about 4 minutes away from our house
so, of course we had to cruise on over there today & check it out.
life has been so good to beau and i
we not only feel blessed by how everything worked out so perfeclly in choosing to come here but are stoked for these upcoming summer adventures!

you'll probably run into my sister & her fam there!
that's so funny that you moved to the same area.
they love it out there.
if you ever need anything (info about the area or whatnot), or feel like babysitting the cutest 2 year old, you should give them a call! haha.

i neeeed long long skinny jeans in my life :)

Colorado is stunning! My sister is moving back from living there for a bit! I am just taking an intro to com class... I dont think I could do public speaking. I had to do an informative speech last week and by the time I was done I couldnt breath I was so nervous! :) love your blog-
I am so jealous. I am going to have to live vicariously through your blog this summer. I miss HR so much! I wish I could move there too! It is a fabulous place, you guys are going to LOVE it. And you better get bikes, that area has the very best trails and open space. There's a new one up above my old high school (Mountain Vista) that my parents love. You'll have to check it out!
