i found this great blog with tons of tutorials on how to make awesome summer skirts and dresses
although i have yet to learn how to sew let alone own a sewing machine..
some of these tutorials allow you to make them without a sewing machine
which i am very happy about.
my grandma AND mom tried to teach me how to sew when i was in high school but i was not interested...
NOW i am and want to learn, at least the basics.
anyone want to teach me?

lastly,
have you heard of CND shellac nail polish?
it dries within seconds, it doesn't chip, it has a super glossy finish AND it stays perfect for weeks.
you should look into it, if you havent already.
I WANT THEM.
i swear, whenever i paint my nails they chip within a few days.
so this is the resolution...
