beau + lindee

beau and i have been busy organizing our apartment and catching up with friends here in rexburg so i skipped blogging about our cancun trip.

 i will share stories later but for now this is as good as it gets!

first off, we booked our get-a-way through apple vacations and was not disappointed at all. so, if you are looking for a great all inclusive vacation for reasonable prices apple vacations won't let you down.

once we got to our hotel we were one of four couples that were chosen to "upgrade" to a 5 star hotel

we did not turn down that offer.

the weather was amazing except for the humidity but, we were in the water 75% of the time which made it bearable.
we were able to see and do lots of neat things in mexico.
one things for sure mexico and i do not jive. i thought i was escaping the chance of getting sick since we ditched the cruise idea but i got sick again. maybe that was our last visit to mexico for awhile.

but, despite that it was definitely a memorable experience and a perfect way to end the summer!

one excursion we took was to isla mujeres. it was pure heaven as you can see from the pictures below. we soaked up the sun, swung in hammocks, snorkeled, saw dolphins and rode bikes to a turtle hatchery.
