While I'm on campus, with the fastest internet, I thought I'd share a short post about our fun adventure we had this weekend. Like I mentioned before we love visitors, especially family. My parents and brother made the trek to Rexburg to see our apartment and to go down to General Conference. It was a short trip but well worth it. We were able to go see and feed the bears at Bear World. Beau and I have driven past it 100x and it never really sparked an interest to us. I'm definitely glad my dad decided it was a must. Such a fun experience to have Grizzly Bears within a few feet of you. Since it was Parkers first time in Utah we did the whole Joseph Smith Memorial Building/Conference Center dealio in Salt Lake. We were lucky enough to sit in the 3rd row of the Conference Center and be able to meet Elder L. Tom Perry after the session. He was tall, handsome and glowing! It was such a neat experience being so close to the Prophet where we could look directly at the speakers instead of the big screen. I loved all the sessions and feel blessed that we get the opportunity to hear from the Prophet and Apostles twice a year. I know it was a long trip up but I'm so grateful they came. I loved being able to see my family instead of text/phone calls. Love them.
