beau + lindee

This weekend was low key, which is just how we like it over here. We were able to go to the temple with our friends The Reay's on Saturday which was great. After church today our friends The Crabb's invited us to drive up to Mesa Falls so we headed out at three. There isn't snow on the ground at all in Rex {surprisingly} so we thought the coast was clear for the falls, but we forgot about the huge elevation difference up at the falls which meant winter wonderland up there. We ended up getting stuck in the snow while in their civic and came only 3 miles away from reaching the falls. We've gotten stuck plenty of times before, but I still freak out so the husbands kept reassuring us that everything was going to be fine...and it was. Looking back it was a fun memory with The Crabb's that we'll never forget. Now, we only have two days of school till we head up to Park City with my family. I can't wait to see the three of them. Beau's shocked that we aren't doing the traditional family gathering Thanksgiving dinner, but honestly we have never been that way. It'll be interesting going to dinner and a movie on Thanksgiving for Beau. It'll be fun. I also told my mom that Beau and I are bringing all our current favorite games so we'll see how it goes with them. My family and games don't really mesh well. HAHA
