beau + lindee

I love the Holiday Season and the opportunity it gives me to reflect on what I'm most thankful for.

I'm going to try and post something I'm grateful for each day during the month.

First: Beau

shocker huh?

Life is great with Beau by my side. He is such a great husband, friend and I can't wait to see him fulfill the role of a father. He is going to be the best to our little girl and I can hardly wait to see it. Not only is he the most handsome guy around but he is so kind, patient, smart and hilarious. He was recently picked for second round interviews with Price Water House in San Jose, CA so he flew out there again this last weekend. Before he left he got a phone call from a recruiter there saying that they were only going to accept 10 audit interns for the upcoming winter semester as opposed to 50-60 like every other semester and they asked him if he would like to interview for a tax position as well. He said yes, but audit was still our first choice. We decided that we were going to be happy if he just got the tax position. After a long day of three 45 minute interviews they told him he would hear back within 1-2 weeks which we totally expected..until he got a call from a 408 number before boarding his flight saying that "He was exceptional and that they couldn't wait the 1-2 weeks to offer him the audit position." Out of the hundreds that applied this was the best news ever. We've been dying to live in the Bay Area and can't wait until Jan. Needless to say, he is very exceptional in my book :)
