the inside job #7

in our lives we shouldn't settle for anything that is mediocre
always DO the best we can & be the best we can be..
&
reach OUR potential..

my freshman year of college i was trying to juggle my classes & then i was called to be relief society president
i was always pushing myself to the point where i was getting way stressed...
w/ being concerned about the girls in my ward, making sure i was doing the best job possible, and keeping up w/ my grades
at the end of the semester, my final for my english class was to schedule an interview w/ the professor and ask him 3 questions [strange i know but he was legit]
one of the questions i asked him was 'is there ever a point we can reach where we can feel like we've done ENOUGH?"
he said that we always need to be progressing but that there comes a point that we need to be at peace w/ our efforts
everyone has potential its all about reaching YOURS.

Good word. I've definitely spread myself too thin in the past. I had no idea until I came out the end of it and realized the toll it had taken on my health and my mind.

Sometimes we just need to say "no" to people. It can be so hard to do, but it helps keep us sane.
