love those weekends

yesterday morning i woke up on the wrong side of the bed and quickly needed to dismiss my grumpy attitude. 

thank goodness it was sunday because church is always the best place to make you feel good. this sunday was particularly great. aside from the great lessons on missionary work, this ward has created some outstanding members. each week i am more and more impressed by their love and feel like someday beau and i could call this place home.

 after church each week, its become habit that i text my mom and say 'i LOVE this ward." i think she probably expects it now, but its true, outstanding members and tons of families. there are 125 kids in the primary, say no more. today i got called to be the sun-beam teacher. i wasn't expecting to get a calling because of the short time that we will be here but i was 100% ready to serve whether it just be visiting teaching, needless to say i couldn't be more excited, this calling is right up my alley. i can't wait to spoil my little cuties with mass amounts of animal cookies and capri suns.

aside from church being wonderful this week has been a fun one too.

i don't know about you but i love animals, anything animals is time well spent. so,  beau and i headed down to the denver aquarium.

it was voted one of the top 8 aquariums in the US [we were a little hesitant about that] but it definitely exceeded our expectations.

also, here goes my first encounter with a sting ray. can you say slimy?
