beau + lindee

I thought I'd document the feeling I had during devotional today because feelings like these are rare. Today Elder L. Tom Perry came and spoke at devotional. It was perfect because I didn't have work today and Beau was out of class at 1 so after he was done with class we hurried on down to the i-center to get the closest seats possible. Cute Elder Perry spoke and of course did an excellent job at explaining how we can become better representatives of the church. After his talk the closing song was "I Know That My Redeemer Lives". It was during this moment where we were singing when I turned around to look at the crowd behind me. The spirit was so over-whelming and it was in that moment, with chills on my arms, that I thought I LOVE BYU-I. 15,000 latter day saint college students gathering together singing "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" Wow! Now isn't that a rare occasion? Despite the weather, Rexburg isn't a terrible place after all.
