Last night I couldn't sleep and Beau fell asleep before me which are two rare occasions. Anyways, not being able to sleep left me lots of time to think. Those that know me, know that I am a thinker. Sometimes I ask Beau "What are you thinking about?" and he'll say "nothing." I think its part me being a girl, but I can't remember a time where I wasn't thinking anything.
Back to last nights thoughts.....I was thinking about why people do the things they do [good or bad.] I was thinking about our good friends from our ward, Jeff and Katie who recently had a still born. You can read her blog here. They are such amazing people who truly know the Gospel and understand the plan of salvation. Honestly, they are a testimony builder to me in the way that they handled their unexpected tragedy. When this happened the ward was very informed so you can't blame the next part on being ignorant... Jeff and Katie have been our good friends for awhile and we always sit next to each other during church. When they came back to church a few Sundays after the incidence not one person said a word to them. Not even a "thinking about you" or "you're in our prayers". I know that people get nervous and don't know what to do or are scared of rejection, but experiencing this first hand with them really helped me understand that when someone is struggling you go towards them and love them up. It's time to step it up and get out of your comfort zone.

Wow, that's really sad! That would not happen in our ward. I love our ward family!
