day 1 - cozumel, mexico
we
decided to split a shuttle with another couple from the cruise and head
to the beach. we went to a private beach called playa palancer. the
water was turquoise blue and the sun was blazing- perfect combination if
you ask me. we enjoyed the day swimming in the ocean, collecting shells
and just totally relaxing. as much as i love the mountains, i am a
beach girl. i could close my eyes and listen to the waves for hours on
end and i did just that. for some reason i thought we were right by
cancun, but cozumel is actually a small island off the shore about 30
miles from cancun. it's a quaint island, but perfect for a days visit!
